Safari Garbled Up

26/09/2009

Now for you users who cant give up Safari for mac (because lets face it, firefox IS superior, but slower and unstable on a mac)

Ive stumbled upon like some of the people out there on the internets with a safari problem where

you cant actually see whats written here.

here is a simulation of the problem:

“wut?” you might say. Well this is because when youre in a forum, when someone describes a procedure involving you to write something into your dusty terminal in mac/linux they write them in these neat little <code> boxes.

These boxes help people seperate whats in <code> and whats not. Easy amirite?

But some safari users ( especially those who installed custom fonts ) may come accross a bug which conflicts with macs courier font.

This of course is unexceptable! I will not allow it. So here use this original Snow Leopard Courier Font. Add it to your Font Book.app .

Download: Fonts.zip

ive also included Times New Roman. Just to be safe…
